Privacy
This is a horoscope column. It does not need to know anything about you, and it largely doesn't.
What this site does not do
- It sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- There are no accounts, no logins, no comments, and no forms.
- It never asks for your email address or any other personal detail.
- There are no advertisements and no advertising trackers.
- Nothing is sold or shared with third parties, because nothing is collected that could be.
- Web fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service.
What is measured
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count readers. It is the least invasive option that still answers "is anyone reading this?" According to Cloudflare, it:
- uses no cookies and no local storage;
- does not fingerprint visitors — it builds no persistent identifier from your IP address, browser string, or anything else;
- does not track you over time or across other websites.
What it records is aggregate and coarse:
- which pages were viewed, and how many times;
- the referring site, if you arrived via a link;
- your browser and operating system by name;
- your country;
- how quickly the page loaded.
Your IP address is used to derive that country and is not stored or logged for analytics purposes.
This measurement requires the browser to load one script fromstatic.cloudflareinsights.com. It is the only third-party request the site makes. Blocking it costs you nothing — the column works identically, and you simply will not be counted.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any web host, Cloudflare handles the network requests needed to deliver pages to you, and its own privacy policy governs that processing.
The feed
The RSS feed carries each issue in full. Reading it in a feed reader involves no measurement by this site at all — the beacon above is never loaded, because feed readers do not run page scripts.
Changes
If what the site collects ever changes, this page changes with it. It is part of the site's source code and is updated in the same commit as the behaviour it describes.
Questions can go to the address in the site's domain registration. The stars are not reachable for comment.
